What was left

Some of you had great finds in the houses you own. We did not. The PO picked the house clean, except for one thing. The stove. That is in the basement. That thing is going to be a you-know-what to get out of there.
This is all that is left. Imagine all the lefse that was cooked on there.
Poor stove.

Cool stove. I really like the shelf and the chrome.

I bet someone would love to have that. Maybe you can give it to someone if they do the labor to get it out of your basement. Wasn't Stucco House looking for a vintage stove?

Is there a date on it?

I was going to say, somebody's bound to take that off your hands, even in your location...it's worth a try to get them to come and take it out, instead of you. :)

Awesome stove! There is a huge fan base for old stoves which are working or can be restored. They can even be updated with newer/safer technology.

Check out antiqueappliances.com and canadian-antique-stoves.com

Is it a Monarch stove?

Thanks everyone!
Dynochick, The tag with the date has been removed the PO said his mother used to cook lefse on it so we think around 1920 or so.

Thanks Andy! We're trying our best, because I sure don't want to lug it up the steps!

Jeannie, thanks for the links!! I'm going to check them out now!

Oh and yes it is a Monarch stove. We downloaded a catalog and hubs thinks he has it narrowed down. There's this guy he works with that is a collect of old stuff.

I would love a stove like that! When I can afford to have our kitchen restored, I'll get either a new-old or reconditioned stove.
